The only area lacking was breakfast, my Hash Brown benedict had very dried bacon, overcooked egg and you could tell the sauce had been left exposed on the hot plate too long. "The Hyatt is our preferred hotel in Birmingham. For us the location is excellent. The staff are mostly helpful. It went through a bad stage a while ago but has vastly improved recently. Room size is good. The bathrooms are a little dated. The view from the rooms is superb and we always pay more for a room on a high floor. The breakfast has long been excellent. "The hotel is fine. Nothing bad, nothing special either. Staff are good, but the hotel bar/restaurant was barely manned between 11.30am and 1pm. But the bed was horrific. So lumpy and soft I slept terribly. I was glad to go home Food in the bar is good. Breakfast was not bad."
