"Absolutely wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Great bed and spacious room.
Bathtub, good size bathroom.
Food and drinks good too."
"The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious, as was the evening meal we had in the restaurant.
Our room was small but with a lovely bathroom. We found it quite noisy as the main road was right outside."
"Our fourth stay at the Metropole in recent years.A privilege to stay in such a unique historic building, with yes a little patina around the edges. If you dont embrace the nostalgia then budget chain's are available. The staff here are so good,as is the breakfast and the pool and spa facility.A great location for roadtrips around mid Wales, and a huge car park."
"Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub
Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately"
"It is a lovely little hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is excellent for Hereford just 7 minutes away. We used it as a base and visited Hereford Cathedral and the Old House Museum in Hereford, Croft Castle, Leominster, Ledbury (not to be missed) Ross on Wye and Goodrich Castle. All less than 45 mins. away. Also some of the Black and White villages north of the City. Would definitely recommend this hotel and also a trip to...
"The room was clean the kitchen area is a real help especially for people like myself who work away a lot, it was reasonable priced for the stay and it’s right by the town so everything is on your doorstep. Parking was good and safe, staff were helpful and polite, even managed to book an e yea night last minute which was good! Definitely reccomend and will be staying again as I’m working in the area for 6 months so a great place to find
