"The property is in need of a refurb as it is looking tired in places. Staff were helpful and polite. Outside seating was insuficient on this sunny weekend. Cooked breakfast was good but the continental (cheese & ham etc) was woefully poor. In the light of recent events the security was bad, entry to the rooms via lift and stairs was not controlled in any way so anyone could walk in off the street and have access. "The bathroom needs cleaning properly! The sink had a residue in it ( I wiped it down with a small towel and the only cleaning product to hand….shower gel! ). There is some black mould starting on the tiles and water damage at the bottom of the door frame in side the bathroom. The room was very hot even with the window open jar.
