"We were greeted by friendly staff, our room was great although bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Food was lovely although as a vegetarian there wasn’t much choice. We had a great nights sleep and the staff were helpful and friendly."
"Lovely hotel in a great location. Friendly staff and very clean. Good value for money.
Beds and rooms were small and breakfast service slow (but we were warned of this beforehand!).
We had city view rooms and they were nicer than we expected, as there was a field and partial sea view anyway. There is no air con but good quality fans were provided as standard, as well as a single duvet upon request. A pleasant stay, would recommend it for couples more than friends/family sharing (due to bed...
"The room was very warm even with the windows open as it was at the top of the property. A room fan was provided but it meant that there was a constant noise when it was on.
The breakfast was really nice."
"We had a comfortable overnight stay (very comfortable bed!). Having been to a wedding reception that day, we didn’t want much to eat, but found just what we wanted, even though the menu is not extensive. The food was good and the fish and chips are obviously a popular choice, and looked delicious. Breakfast was good.
Staff very helpful and friendly."
"Staff were all very helpful and chatty which was nice, nice cooked breakfast at a decent price, allowed us to leave our car in their carpark after checking out , which was apprieciated, will be back next year, thank you marine lodge"
"Service throughout stay was very good, check in quick and with no issues. Room spacious and had all the amenities required. Breakfast and restaurant meals very good with great selection for both."
"First holiday for my husband in two years, recovering from health issues and he really enjoyed the experience, Ed, Bev and all the staff were great and to top it up the weather was great
Thank you all at Barons Court"
"When we walked into the room, we were shocked to see how small and dated it was. Believe me it was hard for two people to walk around, also the bathroom sink was in the bedroom which was so tiny and every time you washed your hands the water just went down on the floor. This guest house is no way 4star, it’s a deliberate miss representation. Please think before you book."
"A superb stay at this wonderful hotel with excellent accommodation in a garden room, delicious food and very friendly staff. We will definitely return."
