Shopping center is close by. In general, it is a great stay. The only drawback is the design of the shower stall. Bathroom would be all wet after shower. Recommend others to try this hotel out when visiting Oslo."

"We stayed here for a few days after an Arctic cruise. It’s a great central location with easy access to the excellent public transportation in Oslo. The staff is friendly and helpful and the bathroom was large with a great shower. The breakfast buffet was very good. The only down side is the small room with no where to put luggage and limited space to hang or store things. There was one chair in our room located behind the TV which was on a stand. "Such a quaint, friendly place. The staff was knowledgeable and accommodating. There's a luggage room if you'd like to check out amd sight see. It included breakfast anddinner and the food was great"

"Hotel is very nice. An excellent location and service was good. Great breakfast. One issue I have is that the information was not very clear on the use of the spa and pool. Hotels.com advertises this but there is no clear information that there is an additional charge. One reason we chose the hotel was the spa/pool but to pay nearly £50 for two people to use this is extortionate. "

"We had a good stay at the Vulkan although the room was looking a little “tired” round the edges. For a hotel that would be used by a lot of tourists, they had a strangely early breakfast time during the week - finishing at 0930! Location is excellent however with easy walking distance to Grunerlokka for great bars/restaurants and even into Oslo city centre along the Akerselva river."
