Besides location (a bit far from downtown) everything was amazing. Large bathroom, well-ventilated room, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. I would highly recommend if staying in Oslo!
Excellent breakfast options, probably the best of any hotel weve been to.
The family room was very cramped and didnt have any cupboard space to store clothes, plus the window didnt open fully and was really long and thin in the corner of the room so we couldnt get fresh air in properly (because the air con didnt work either).
Bar area lovely and modern.
Just a 20 min bus ride into Oslo (on bus 31!).

Decent room on the outskirts of Oslo
Nice hotel on the outskirts of Oslo but still within the "zon 1". Decent family room with a nice buffe breakfast. The room was somewhat small and guite run down, it could need a bit of renovation. But the rest of the hotel was nice.
This is a nice hotel, as long as you realize that the location is fairly isolated. Specifically, there is only one other restaurant within walking distance and it's a 10-minute cab ride to museums and downtown. We had all of our breakfasts at the hotel was well as several dinners and all were good. Bar has limited hours but the front desk has a limited selection of bottled beer. If the weather is good, recommend taking advantage of the beautiful back deck.
We were abit worried it would be to far out but for the price thought id risk it and so glad i did. Bus is literally up the road. Amazing views. Shopping centre down the road with a beautiful Italian restaurant. The hotel smelt amazing. The bar is stunning. Loads of choice for breakfast. Cant recommend enough.
There were some issues with the Expedia side of things not registering the booking with the hotel properly. Otherwise lovely place, breakfast is awesome and the dinner was too
"It was a family room. We had enough space for 4 (2 adults and 2 kids aged 8 and 5 years). The bed for the parents was very unstable and shaky. A slight movement could easily shake the bed, as if it were an earthquake. Breakfast was amazing, with a big corner offering gluten-free options. We will return to this hotel. It was really nice.
The Scandic hotels pride themselves on being very directive. i.e. hang your towel on the hook, we won’t clean your room unless you ask us etc
I found the room utilitarian. No carpet, so cold underfoot. No ability to control bathroom light which lit the room like a stadium when you walked through the door. So using it at night when you’re mostly still asleep and would prefer to stay that way is an eye opening experience.
Bathroom had no towel bars, just aforementioned hooks so wet towels stayed damp. No washcloths, just hand towels. No shelves to put your stuff on just a weird ladder thing from IKEA. No shower mat and no grab bar in shower.
I think they should have all those things given the price.
Upside was enormous breakfast buffet and nice staff.
The hotel was spotless, staff were very friendly and spoke brilliant English. Bus routes are very easily accessible within a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Great location if going to an event at the unity arena. The breakfast was really good quality and had lots of choice, cooked breakfast, fresh fruit, pancakes and pastries, juices, hot drinks etc. The only flaw I would say was that in our room the shower wasn’t great, not very powerful so made it difficult to wash long hair. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying here.

Perfect for a relaxing stay just outside Oslo with great, quick and easy transport connections into the city. Beautiful views. Good selection for a vegan breakfast too!
