"Wasn’t disappointed, booked this as it had good reviews and all I can say is they are all true. Staff are so friendly it was lovely. Room had everything that you could need. We had a room overlooking the car park. (Plenty of free parking for residents) We could hear the road, however, we had the window open as we were very warm and it wasn’t busy overnight. "Good central location with plenty of space in the room and excellent parking. Lightening was insufficient since bedside lights broken or no bulb. Upgrade of interior (one of the 2 rooms) would benefit the property especially for the cost charged."
"Beautiful location. Ideally situated for the South West Coastal Path. Lovely pub atmosphere with a good restaurant. Local beer. Staff were helpful on site. Parking.
Room was cosy but had everything that you needed. Lovely shower."
"It's a lovely old place and very well maintained. The bed so cery comfortable. And a lovely old oub with a true Thomas Hardy room. He had his own table there! I had a beautiful breakfast. I return there in another week or so for another night and will take my friends there for dinner, the menu looks delicious. I'm so pleased to have stayed there and meeying their lovely staff."
"Beautiful setting, full of character. Wonderfully welcoming and helpful staff. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent breakfast! The regular menu is also excellent. A nice respite in a busy world!"
"Our room was lovely, suitably large with 2 good wardrobes and a light over the dressing table mirror.
The mattress was very comfortable and table water was always available.
Breakfast was served in the conservatory with a lovely view of the enclosed garden.
We ventured away from the Full English to try the omelettes which were delicious!
The owner, Noorani Willamson is charming, chatty and very knowledgable about the surrounding area."
