"The room was clean and tidy and had almost all you could wish for. The breakfast was help yourself but had enough for almost everyone. I was slightly disappointrd with the grill dining room menu but nevertheless enjoyed my choice. Staff were friendly and helpful and would definitely choose again if necessary. "

"I’ve stayed here before and will definitely stay again but only because it is convenient. The room was far too hot, and I remember it being hot when I stayed before. It does make for an uncomfortable nights sleep. There were some idiots banging doors and shouting down the corridor at 3am, not the hotels fault but it did frustrate an already uncomfortable night. The staff were not particularly welcoming. I get like a disturbed their conversation when I checked in rather than feeling welcomed....

"My Daughter and I have just had a 2 night stay at the Forest Lodge having traveled up from Kent for a wedding. On arrival we were greeted and immediately were made to feel welcome , nothing was a problem , All the staff were amazing and we would like to say a huge thank you for making our stay so pleasurable .
