"Everything was perfect to what we wanted"

"Great for a night or two. Good food, comfy beds and a welcoming staff."

"Terrible place. Beautifully grand building, but dirty with dead flies and stains over everything. One that was once probably beautiful feels more like a squat nowadays. Don’t go at all. Very gross."

"Lovely stay at the Bear. Food was excellent and the room clean. Staff were very helpful. Always enjoy my visit."

"An amazing place - right location near the mountains and valleys, spic, interior full of character as per the inn name, cheerful staff, good size rooms with amenities, tea and coffee with milk (not milk powder), a shower with superb spray force and priced perfectly. Whether you are a solo traveller or family, it's highly recommended if you are in Sennybridge."

"The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but...

"Clean, well presented, friendly helpful staff and a decent breakfast! Couldn't ask for any more, was a great place to stay. We only stayed one night but would be happy to return and stay longer! Highly recommended"

"Excellent place to stay"

" An excellent stay overall. Our room was very comfortable and pleasant. Common kitchen area a bit chaotic but ok. Easy to find and convenient for Brecon. Would return."

"A charming, 'old school', hotel, with friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of stairs to help one keep fit! Excellent choice of cooked breakfasts, with tasty local ingredients."

"Lovely , clean property with good amenities Owner Julie was very welcoming and friendly "

"Lovely old building that has been well maintained. I was on a solo motorbike mini tour so was looking for a somewhere that had secure parking which the Drovers have. The room was very clean and well stocked. The hosts make you feel very welcome and provide/cook a cracking breakfast which set me up for the day. I enjoyed my stay there and should I ever venture that way again it would be my first choice to book."

"Lovely self contained accommodation with access to the garden, in a great location. Friendly and helpful owners. Will definitely come back at some point."

"Definitely one of the best Hotels we’ve stayed at. The hosts were amazing and their attention to detail and care exceptional. A very enjoyable stay and will definitely book again if we visit Llanymddyfri."

"I stayed in the Hayloft. My hosts could not have been more charming. The Hayloft was beautifully furnished and much care had gone into it. The one thing that I think let it down was the quality of the beds - 4 singles - the mattress lacked support and you could actually feel the springs in it. I think a mattress upgrade would match the high quality bedding that is provided. The only other thing was that the fridge was switched off and open when I arrived. Maybe this is the way it is done in...

"Exceptional hospitality, beautiful room and great breakfast and peaceful location close to the centre of town"

"Really friendly and welcoming host - Richard was chatty and friendly throughout our stay, and a perfect location for our walks over the Brecons 👍"
