"An outstanding property; one of the best I have ever stayed at. The views are incredible, rooms are well kept and bar and restaurant are open 6a-10p. But you do need 4wd to get up the mountain on a rough road to it (faster is better) and the food is very healthy and may not be enough for everyone, but is delicious. Staff become family quickly. We'll be back."

We were a family of four, and after a 4-hour plane ride, a 2-hour customs line, and a 3½-hour drive from San José Airport, we arrived at the hotel completely exhausted. "Super nice place in a gated community. The pictures didn't do it justice. We had a group of four so it was perfect. Lower level had a laundry room and 2 equal sized bedrooms with bathrooms inside. Each room also had a private patio with amazing views. Upstairs had a 3rd bathroom, full kitchen, dining room, living room. The outdoor covered patio wrapped around the side of the house and has even better views. We sat out there for hours at a time. "
