"Rooms are for sleeping as staying in them any longer not too appealing. Clean but basic; tired and small. Restaurant was more modern making it a nice place to sit and sample some rather good food. Swimming pool and sauna serves its purpose well. Lounge areas comfortable and inviting; a good place to sit if you can’t bare the bedrooms. "What a quaint and lovely stay we had at the Atholl Palace. This was our only trip into the highlands on this Scottish vacation and it felt like a mini retreat. The scenery was beautiful. We explored all of the footpaths. The staff were very friendly, attentive and worked very hard. The atmosphere was coorie.
