"We are so glad we choose this hotel for our visit to Palermo. The perfect location as it is literally right in the city center, within walking distance to everything. It is a beautiful, older, renovated building with wonderful architectural details and plesant surprises around every corner. The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating, and were very helpful in arranging transportation and special requests. The rooms are well-sized, very clean, and the beds, linens and pillows of...
"The place was very nice. Right on the ocean.
The breakfast was fantastic. There wasn’t much variety for lunch or supper. So we walked off the property.
I would NOT recommend the pedicure. It’s a “dry pedicure” it hurt so much! No water is used to let your feet soak. No lotion, nothing. So painful!
The staff were very helpful and friendly."
"Good, clean hotel but not updated. Not a very nice location: you have to walk/drive around 10/12 blocks through a not nice neighborhood to get to a street where there is restaurants and shopping. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we did not use it. Breakfast was ok. Has a nice view from the top floor where breakfast is served, and also from the top floor pool."
"The breakfast was good. It was clean. The hotel was super clean and all the staff were wonderful. Was it a great spot? Nh Palermo? I highly recommend."
"★☆☆☆☆ 1/5 – Very Disappointing Stay at Mercure Palermo – Misleading Photos and Poor Room Conditions
Our experience at the Mercure Hotel in Palermo was extremely disappointing, and I would certainly not recommend this hotel.
First, the main photograph advertised on the website appears to be very misleading and does not reflect what we experienced upon arrival. In fact, I could barely recognize some of the pictures shown online. This is not an honest representation of what guests should...
"I had cockroaches in my room. Hotel staff apparently came & sprayed. I’m doubtful. I had to keep the bathroom light on all night to keep them at bay. I also had to keep my suitcase on the bed, zipped up at all times .
The furniture in the front lobby was Circa 1970 & the lobby smelled musty. Would never recommend this hotel."
"The property is in a great location, although a bit hard to find if you're driving yourself around and searching with a GPS.
Parking was convenient.
We checked in about 3pm and we tried to watch the TV, not one channel was in English😌
Later we wanted a coffee, there was no milk to be found, not even at the bar. We asked about a machine they use for breakfast, that is only available for breakfast. We could not find a tea or coffee anywhere, which is just crazy for a hotel. There was a...
"This is a wonderful hotel with impeccable service. The staff was incredibly helpful with our car reservation logistics and provided great parking information. They even accommodated our early checkout schedule by preparing a breakfast box for us to go. The location, amenities, and breakfast were all excellent. We truly loved our stay."
"The room was clean and comfortable with view of the park. Air conditioning effective and quiet.
No tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
Breakfast buffet was good. Lots of choice."
