The food is absolutely delicious!

Un accueil soigné dans un cadre très agréable

Beautiful setting, despite being in the middle of town.

Finding and accessing the parking was tricky the first time. Very nice, quiet apartment room, in a great location.

We were received with kindness. The person at the reception was very helpful and showed us all the amenities of hotel and room. She gave us an upgrade in the room without us requesting it. Room was clean and spacious which is not common in many European cities. We added the well served breakfast at a reasonable price. The hotel is just about 10 min drive from the city castle. Overall great stay. Definitely recommend it!!

Great location. Right across from the medieval city. Easy walk to the town center. Staff was exceptional!

We really enjoyed our stay at La Citè Carcassonne, the car par is just outside, and the baggage porter gave us a ride up to the property, being inside the Castle walls will give you a unique feeling of connection to the past

Wonderful hospitality, large and well appointed rooms, beautiful local home made breakfast. A quiet charming place

This hotel was wonderful. Carcassonne is a special town and the hotel exceeded our expectations. It is located at the base of the castle with excellent views of the castle and surrounding hillsides. The restaurant offers an open-air experience, and we enjoyed happy hour wine in the evening then a lovely breakfast in the morning. The room itself was the best part - eloquent yet comfortable. We will stay here again when we visit Carcassonne.

Laundromat is close by (for those extended stays like mine). Walk to Castle and nearby restaurants. Great staff, very helpful and friendly. Breakfasts not so good, but that’s all there is,($15 E for cereal) parking is a longer walk, so unload and load at hotel then walk back. Good layover spot.

We stayed at Le Grand Bassin Guesthouse for one night before picking up our Le Boat for a 10-day cruise east. I can say without hesitation that we had a perfect stay! We arrived on Castelnaudry by train, and then walked to the guesthouse, so of course we were behind schedule. Sophie waited patiently for us and, on our arrival, called Chez David in town to make sure we would get a table for dinner. Sophie is an exceptional host, and our room was clean and comfortable. We did not have breakfast...

Great view of Castel and clean rooms
