"Room was crammed with very small desk at the end of the bed. Little room to walk by and I’m only 165. Food was wonderful and staff were polite."

"We enjoyed our pod very much, we loved being so close to the water. The meals were delicious."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Perle Oban Hotel & Spa! The location is perfect, right in the heart of town and within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and pubs. We especially loved watching the fishing boats and ferries coming and going in the harbor. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel was a wonderful home base for exploring Oban. We would happily stay here again!"

"This was in walking distance to the waterfront which had all the shops, cafes and restaurants that we needed. It was also close for the ferry to Mull. The hotel did not have a buffet but you ordered from the menu and everything was brought to your table so everything was piping hot. They also had a good breakfast selection to choose from. We were very pleased with the standard of cleanliness of the room. Nice big shower as well. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Staff service was excellent. Good was amazing. Some noise at night due to creeky floorboards above. Room was lovely with nice touches eg water and biscuits."

"Really enjoyed our stay. The character in the bar/restaurant of this old ferry house building was amazing. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Everything was fine, and the location around the hotel was good. However, the main issue was that the toilet was shared between 4 to 5 rooms and was located outside the rooms, which was inconvenient. The hotel may be more suitable for younger people, as it has five floors and only stairs, making it quite difficult to go up and down, especially for families or older guests. Overall, the stay was okay, but these points are worth considering before booking."

"Not worth the cost. The bathroom fan wasn’t working and the shower drain needs unclogging. I had to stop the water for it to drain or it would have over flown the base. The stove light didn’t work. There was no toaster. No facial tissue/kleenex. The dish sponge was used (not good for someone with food allergies like me). There were only two glasses. And be warned, if you are on the top floor like we were, the sun shines on the sliding door all afternoon and into the evening, making the place...

"We arrived in the evening and were greeted by Dan, possibly the friendliest, more passionate human being on this planet. He gave us a warm welcome, showed us around, and made sure we were taken care of for dinner as there isn’t much around. He sent us to the local pub with lanterns as the walk there gets dark and it added a pretty fun experience to our evening. The property is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. We played games in the lounge and had the best sleep in a very cozy and...

"The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had a wonderful meal - the duck was very good as was the seafood risotto. Breakfast was also great. The location was beautiful! A small lighthouse across from the property as well as a small castle further down. Had a wonderful morning walk along the water and fond by the castle! A perfect autumn walk."

"The place had an amazing view, really clean, and the staff, they’re super nice."

"The Melfort House is a beautiful and well-maintained home. The rooms are cozy and charming and the staff was helpful. I was the only one there, so it was very quiet! Breakfast was wonderful, cooked to order. It is a fair piece from town, which I did not realize, but the GPS took me right to the front door."

"Clean and cosy room with tea/coffee making facilities and ensuite. We were on the second floor accessed by spiral stairwell. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was across the road from accommodation in the tearoom. We had a delicious cooked breakfast. Continental breakfast also available. Highly recommended"

"Our stay at Invercreran Lodge was the most luxurious stay of our entire trip to Scotland. My biggest regret is that we didn't have more time to enjoy the lodge. Upon entering the entire place has a signature smell that makes you feel comforted. Plush carpet in the bedroom, 5 star amenities in the bathroom and every detail meticulously thought out. Plenty of outlets right next to the nightstands, black out curtains that are truly blackout, a dyson fan for added air flow (and white noise) and even...

"This hotel is not suitable for disabled people as there is no lift on the ground floor but there is one on the first floor. Over all speaking as a disabled person the value for the few days I spent there too high .would I return no"
