"Apart from a few bits of refurbishment, this hotel was fine and the staff very helpful; the food was excellent as well as the beer. We would highly recommend this location for its proximity to many locations in the South West"
"The staff were friendly, fun and efficient. A disabled parking space was close by for my husband and the ground floor bedroom exceptionally well accommodated and comfortable along with a wet room!
The bar was fun, friendly and busy with excellent menu, great service and atmosphere.
A local group of friends informally got together with instruments and voices. Much enjoyed.

"I called a few days ahead of our stay to let them
Know that my daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday on that day and if they could do anything special for this. They said they couldn’t as they only provide champagne for adults and they are very busy so won’t have time. I suggested maybe a small card and a few chocolates just as a welcome gesture. He sighed and seemed annoyed I had pushed the point.
When we arrived I noticed the carpets in bedrooms were very obviously stained and worn out....
"Very clean and cozy pod. Good wifi and all necessary amenities. Spacious grounds for children to run about. Good parking. Hammocks in shaded areas. The picture of a child on the beach made me think it was near the beach. Turns out it is not. That was a tad confusing."
"Easy to find, parking available. Clean room and lovely garden to relax in. Breakfast was fantastic and the hosts were very welcoming and relaxed. Quiet property and a good location as it is only 3 miles from Dunster."
