"We enjoyed our stay at the Waterside Hotel. Parking in the basement was easy with lifts to all floors. The room was good, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only grumbles would be that it was difficult getting into the bath tub to have a shower and there was no fridge in the room."

"The hotel is nice. The hotel pub is the same. And the staff is polite. The coffee machine DID NOT WORK in the room. You couldn’t even put the mug (from the hotel room not my personal one) to pour coffee in it because it is too big. In the room there are no sockets. I wanted to charge my laptop and other devices, I didn’t have where. There are two “sockets” on one side and the other of the bed STRICTLY for phone cables. Meaning you insert the cable directly. "Check in was seamless and we were greeted by a smiling member of staff and given a complimentary glass of fizz."

"discounted upgrade request sent via the hotel and we accepted but when we arrived we were told the upgrade system wasn't working and we quickly dismissed, and told no discounts available. Reception not so customer focused and friendly. Ordered cocktails the bar was empty and took 25 minutes to make !. The hotel is very compact and not much space at breakfast, felt quite claustrophobic. Overall disappointing but it didn't spoil our night away."
