"Overall an okay stay. Car park a tad confusing but depends on which way you enter the hotel grounds. Be careful of old golfers driving at you in their golf buggies in the car park! I was hoping to go for a relaxing swim but it felt more like a busy leisure centre and people doing serious training - not relaxing at all. "A convenient location for what we were doing. It has plenty of parking, including reserved parking for residents when there's a large event on. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bedroom was clean and a reasonable size and had little extras like crisps. Breakfast had a good choice of items for which you pay extra to the room and pay on the morning. My only small comment would be that the stair carpet needs replacing - it's worn and ripped, and doesn't give a good impression before you...

"Really nice place. Stayed in the "Bluebell" room. Was disappointed to see the condition of the paintwork surrounding the light fitting by the wardrobe; doesn't scream "4 star hotel". Also, I was a little disappointed that there were so few channels available on the TV. Other than that, I was impressed."

"A very pleasant stay! Lovely large room and the bar and restaurant was great. Comfortable bed and good shower. They even made me food after the kitchen was closed. Only negative was the mini single use plastic shower gels and shampoos. Refillable soap and shampoo dispensers would make it perfect! "
