"The hotel is clean in general, and staff are nice, but we were allocated to a room that's not facing the street. We opened the windows and killed 6 mosquitos over 3 nights - at midnight as well, so sleep was really interrupted. There can be more lights in the room as well. The hairdryer was broken on the last night and the noise was so loud when in use. The room would probably be better and brighter if it's facing the street."

"Lots of space, handy microwave and fridge, comfortable beds, lovely to be able to step onto balcony for fresh air. Excellent price for two night stopover travelling through France into Spain by train. Only downside was being asked to take rubbish to garbage area but maybe that was our translation?"

"You have to park a mile or more away and they charge you the same as every hotel which I find to be not right! For this trip, we went to almost 5 hotels and they charge us for parking and their parking was just below the building. With all the constructions going on around this hotel maybe it could of been fair to give people discount for their parking! Really bad experience with parking "

"This hotel was great for me as a solo traveler - it’s in a safe area, the room was clean and I was impressed by the double windows that blocked out street noise. It’s right in the heart of a ton of shopping and restaurants. The only con was the shower- I barely fit in it and I’m a smaller woman, and the doors didn’t shut properly so the water got in the floor. If you can look past that it’s a good room. "

"You can't ask for a better location in Lyon. It is right in the heart of the city, easy walking distance to everything. The staff and hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. Terrific breakfast in the morning. The facilities themselves have a fun, old-hotel feeling to them, and I enjoyed how it didn't feel like a chain hotel. Highly recommend a stay!"
