"An oasis near the centre of Taunton - All I needed was a beer, some food and a very comfy bed after a hard day and they obliged in ample measure. Although the chef count was down to one through an absence they still managed to rustle up a nice meal (thanks guys). The bed was huge and the room nice and large. Breakfast was ample. All in all it was what we all seek but find it hard to discover these days - Good Value. "

"The hotel is in a good spot in Wells. We found our room a little disappointing and very cramped. Our window opened onto the courtyard, but the lights were very bright all night. Wifi did not work in the room and the TV also didn't work, which were a bit disappointing. The employees were quite cheerful and the breakfast was very good."
