"Clearly once a grand hotel, it still has a lot of charm but some parts are a little tired. My lower ground floor room had no heating switched on, even the electric heated towel rail was disconnected. Comfy bed and fine staff, a peaceful and safe location. Would stay again. "

"We only used the property to sleep in and shower in the morning. Didn't use any facilities. River very close so nice view out of window. Room needs updating. Carpets were stained, windows old and the blind was just about hanging on the window. Bathroom was clean and shower was fine. "
