"Clean room with everything I needed!"

"On arrival I was asked for my ID or credit card in the name I booked under. I purposely didn't bring any as I was in Bristol and there are certain cities I don't bring ID to - Bristol is one. I paid in advance to avoid needing to bring ID or the credit card. I had my booking number and email confirmation. I was told when checking in I needed evidence of my ID. "The staff at the Old Mill are really friendly and helpful. The Italian restaurant is pleasant with a nice outlook next to the canal and the food is nice. The breakfast is basic continental but perfectly adequate. The location is good only a 10 minute walk to the canal that takes you all the way in to the centre of Bath and is a lovely walk. Our room at the Old Mill was perfectly fit for purpose however is in need of some decoration. It could have been cleaner, we found cobwebs over the bedside...

"We were given a disabled access room, despite me booking a standard double room. There for 2 nights a no housekeeping at all! Very disappointing!"

"We had twin beds & I had a double quilt cover on mine it had such a big hangover I kept getting my foot stuck in it. They didn’t clean our room on the Sunday for some reason? We managed using our towels twice & making our beds. We had to keep calling down for more coffee & sugar, coffee machine didn’t work one day seemed it was full of expired coffee caps, wile doing it he spilt some coffee over the bin onto the floor & just left it !! On the first day we needed help with air conditioning....

"My teens were expected to stay on an uncomfortable pull out that was smaller than a love seat it was so uncomfortable the boys preferred sleeping on the floor.. With the bed pulled out there was no space if you wanted to look in your suitcase (we had 4 roll aboards and 4 back packs) you could only open them on the bed. There was not even a chair in our room not that there was space for one. The breakfast did not have many choices and was cold."
