Little things were irritating like turning the tap on a getting totally drenched by it and a shower that took a few minutes going cold and boiling before it settled on a temperature, and then was a good shower. Also, housekeeping seemed to be making noise and hoovering right outside my door at 9am for well over an hour, but no offer of housekeeping for my room e.g. fresh...

"Only stayed one night. Room was very basic but reasonably clean and tidy. Reception area leaves a lot to be desired as does the actual location of the hotel. I didn't feel particularly safe on my solo walk back to the hotel late in the evening. "

"Payment details had not been updated and was asked to pay again. Luckily I had my bank payment evidence. Room was tired with stained carpet, soiled bed linen, soiled sink, and hairs on toilet and surrounding surface. No one at reception on check out to discuss this with."

"Lovely quirky hotel. Free parking and in easy reach of public transport with only a short tram journey to the centre of Sheffield. Rooms clean and welcoming. Beds comfy and a modern clean and large on suite. Breakfast was perfect with help yourself cereal toast and a full menu of various cooked options to choose from cooked fresh with table service. Only downside breakfast room was far too hot. Would definitely return."
