"Staff were wonderful, but we had an executive room that was in a poor state of repair to the point that the fire safety information had to be reattached to the door. The list of defects were really high from holes in the carpet mismatched furniture door strip on the bathroom door coming off to name only a few. If this was an executive room the mind boggles what the standard room must be like."

"The hotel is easy to find and has a private parking offered by NCP. You also get a tiny discount from the hotel. The hotel looks basic and there is nothing special about the rooms, but we found them clean. The bed was comfortable. We felt pretty safe in the hotel. When we needed an extra towel the lady from the reception was super helpful and happy to make our stay much pleasant. The included breakfast was a typical English breakfast and it was delicious. "Nice location, within walking distance to some lovely pubs and restaurants. Rooms are perfect and great value. There are plenty of stairs with it being several houses converted together, but this is mentioned in the listing. Staff are friendly and rooms clean and modern."

"Nothing extraordinary. If you are expecting air conditioning because it's an American chain, nope. Room is decently large and stairs are wide. Be sure to register your license plate to avoid fines."
