"Staff were friendly and helpful some rooms were a little tiered as I ended up saying a extra night so had to rebook and change room breakfast was the best thought it let the hotel down as the bacon was smoked not everyone’s choice, potatoes where soggy as sweeting in the hot plate warmer, scrambled egg was just wet mosh and no flavour. One positive is they serve breakfast early, "

"Was very pleased to discover this hotel. Beautiful building, room was as good as the other hotel group we normally use. Small points to mention, towels are small, and we had no soap in the bathroom, toilet seat was dirty, had to wash it before I could use it. Otherwise very happy with our stay, will definitely use again."

"I tend to stay here when working near York. It's a fantastic little place with great parking just outside your room. The rooms a spacious enough for work in the evenings and very comfortable. Breakfast is great too and the chap who runs it is really friendly. I look forward to my next stay there."

"Little bit of confusion at check in which was quickly and easily sorted out by the staff. Apparently hotels.com and the hotel aren’t compatible when booking so I’d call ahead if you are staying here to cover any issues before you arrive. Either way, we got a room that we were expecting and breakfast. Room was large and comfortable, very clean."

"Nice Hotel. I got lost a couple of times down the corridor but found my way around. room was nice. I checked the bed for dust mites which looked clean so i did not have to get the dust mite spray out. Which is a good thing. Just got the water warm enough for the shower. The Breakfast was good. With quite a lot of choice. the breakfast came straight from the kitchen and was hot. not under infa red light where they are so often luke warm or cold. so nice having a hot Breakfast. i was asked if i...

"Reception staff are very friendly and helpful. There were a couple of issues with my room, but they were sorted straight away. This is a very basic 'dry' hotel originally built for offshore rig workers so set your expectations accordingly. That said it's about a third of the price of the posh one next door which does have a bar. The airport check-in desks are about 600m away, ish, so a very easy walk. The bed was comfortable and roomy for one, but two might be 'cosy'. Also, surprisingly quiet....

"Large shared kitchen with excellent facilities. Single bedroom had plenty of space and in the back of the property so quiet. Doors are noisy when they close. Could have done with a bedside table and hook on the back of bathroom door for towels. So tiny things would make it perfect but this was a great place to stay."
