"Accomodation on the very edge of town. Roads to it very poor with numerous huge pot holes, if i hadn't been driving a 4x4 i would have turned back! Apartment on the first floor accessed via unmanned communal hall, staircase and landing with numerous apartments of them. Whilst we saw no-one in these areas in our comings and goings, my partner commented that she felt unsafe and would not leave the apartment without me. "Great place for our short visit to the Orkneys! Very close to the ferry service, easy overnight parking, very close to most of the Neolithic sites we wanted to see, and great breakfast each morning. "

"The Ferry Inn is a combination hotel/pub with breakfast included on our booking. We ate dinner both nights in the pub restaurant. The food was good & they had several choices for each course. The location was excellent for the Scrabaster/Stromness ferry & it was easy to navigate to Kirkwall & all the sights."

"What a wonderful stay.. Graham, Sarah and Claire were such lovely hosts nothing to much trouble very accommodating from checking in to checking out.. Breakfast was excellent each morning cooked to order and evening meals were fantastic especially the fish and chips and homemade tartar sauce was so yummy.. The rooms are clean with lovely bedding and fantastic views of the beautiful island.. Can't wait to go back.. "

"Great place to stay in Wick, literally a home away from home. Bread, butter, milk and biscuits was a pleasant surprise on arrival. Every amenity you could expect. The apartment was warm, comfortable; the shower piping hot and the wifi signal strong. Plenty of parking space and a short walk to bars and restaurants. Communication excellent and responsive throughout. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is in a great location. Unfortunately the hotel in its self is a bit tired and could do with a make over. The guy at check in was a bit scary.!! "
