"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "Comfortable and clean . Friendly staff especially Becky and Liv.Evening meal superb ,apparently chef Dave on duty when we stayed. It would have been better if staff knew what soup of the day was before taking orders ,a small detail but probably more professional. About 9 stairs up to the room ,staff did offer to help with suitcases .Car park is up a small hill but there is a drop off area to unload your suitcases to avoid having to walk down with them. Would return if only for the food."
"Warm and friendly welcome and it stayed like that all week
As to the room it had a lovely powerful shower, a comfy bed and a kettle what more could I want"
"Plenty of parking at the rear of the pub for guest, which was great as there isn’t any parking on the Main Street. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice."

The room was large and spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable.
The bathroom had shampoo & conditioner as well as shower gel & soap.
We paid for our parking at a car park down the road, but the b&b do have a small parking area out the back.
Breakfast had a huge amount to choose from, cooked, cereals, toast, pancakes, pastries , yogurt & fruit.
Hot drinks & fresh...
"Walking the SWCP and this hotel was perfect for my needs. It was clean, friendly staff and the onsite pub/restaurant served good quality food. Highly recommended"
