"This bed and breakfast in Chester, CA near Lake Alamnor and the south entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park was the perfect place to stay after a challenging, afternoon hike in Lassen. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was large and well appointed, the property was well cared for, and breakfast was delicious with excellent service. My sister and I both said we would stay here again."

"Loved my stay at Drakesbad, they staff was pleasant, the property was beautiful and calm, and their food was great. Dining staff in the evening was amazing, the girls were so attentive and supportive to answering any questions. I loved the horses, and the hikes that were on-site. They were truly magical. I also loved how quiet and peaceful the property was. Getting it there is a gravel road for 3 miles, I would say be careful because there were a few pot holes (hopefully that can be repaired)....
