"We loved our stay! The only comment I’d say was I wish the rooms were slightly better ventilated, when we came in our non smoking room, it smelled like cigarettes and we couldn’t get the windows open to air out the smell. Otherwise though amazing!!"

Jeff in that bar does a fantastic drinks ! Fresh Seafood meals we enjoyed as well facing marina . "

"Very relaxing and conveniently located. Only critical suggestion was to have lights in the back road sign for the hotel. That back road was dark and I went past your hotel sign and had to turn back. "The Captain Stannard house is a true gem in Westbrook. There are many restaurants, shops, parks, and beaches close by. The property has a private yard and a large rear porch for relaxation. My room was impeccably clean and spacious for being the smallest one in the house. Dianne was incredibly sweet and went out of her way to help all the guests. "

"This is an old house redone into a bed/breakfast. The bed was comfortable for a quick night stay, and the breakfast was very good that the host made himself. Was not wearing very clean attire when we met, but I feel that was just fine because he was a real down to earth person and very hospitable."
