We changed our plans and spent all three afternoons at the spa and pool because it was so relaxing and lovely. The outdoor pool overlooked the marina and the indoor pool, sauna and whirpool helped invigorate us. The duck and risotto at the restaurant was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. We will be back again.

The best of the best! This was our 5th stay at Saybrook point and each year we look forward to going back. I can’t say enough good things. Do take advantage of all the amenities the hotel has to offer. Scenic bike ride, passes to the beach, shuttle services to and from town, amazing restaurants and the pool facilities. It’s a gem of a hotel and the town itself is even better.

Old Saybrook never disappoints. The rooms have been remodel Edinburgh the last six months but the resort has managed to retain its old world chatm. Eventhough there were three weddings at the property during our visit, the staff were attentive to us and we weren't as re remained their only guests. We will visit again.

I normally hesitate booking hotels out of town that aren't name brand, however, I am so glad that we 'accidentally' came across this place. I can't say enough good things about this hotel--it is super clean, comfortable beds, the rooms are amazing and the pool area with the steam room and sauna were incredible. The restaurant was top notch. I am still trying to recreated their chicken salad sandwich.

Location was great—beautifully landscaped. Employees were very helpful and personable. Our rooms were large, clean and comfortable. I would have appreciated a small microwave in the room. Meals were very good but very expensive. Alcoholic drinks and wines were delicious this year. Great bartending.

Very clean and updated room. Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. Nice furnishings and a large TV. The outdoor pool is not that big so you must get there before 8am to get a lounge. It was great to have a spa on site. My massage therapist was excellent. The check in was painless and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything. Plenty of parking! I highly recommend this property!!
