"This hotel is just a couple of blocks around from Russell Square Station and a ten minutes walk from massive Kings Cross. Very accessible and great room"
"The room was very secluded, comfortable and relatively clean. You can still hear the tube and the bathroom would make a weird sound every few minutes. But once the lights were off, it was very easy to fall asleep and relax, especially with the cocoon style bed and mattress. The area is a massive plus if you plan to be exploring London both during the day and night."
"Disappointing experience. Chaotic and confusing check-in. Inefficient receptionist who opened the conversation insisting that the only rooms available were at the back of the hotel. Then proceeded to let me know that I had to choose the floor and room number, with no context or additional information. The room was small, musty and hot. We spent as little time there as possible. Also, construction noise from 7:30 am. Breakfast was mediocre. We would have had much better options elsewhere. The...
"If you’re short, it’s a good choice. Tiny rooms, including short beds. Yes, it’s crowded, ageless London, but beware. If you’re over 6 feet tall, prepare for bumped heads, banged elbows, and stubbed toes. Plus narrow stairways built for small feet. It’s all “charming,” but annoying for those of us taller than average."
"Room lighting was poor, too dark and the white lighting gives a cool and uncomfortable feeling. Furniture are all in black so it adds to the darkness inside the room. No table or bedside lamp too."
"Unfortunately, the lift wasn’t working and we were on the sixth floor.
Staff were very efficient and friendly, but 6 flights was difficult with a heart condition.
The Club lounge was very useful, as was bag storage on departure day.
Thank you"
"This place is like some post-irony fever dream. You walk into a lobby where there are two people working at registration but they only point you to. digital kiosk where you click buttons for add-ons. There are a couple of vending machines in the lobby where you can digitally buy water or snacks. Room was cleanish-dingy and feels like living in a closet. There's a bed on a platform slightly off the floor. there are three very shallow knobs on the wall behind the door where I hung a T-shirt fairly...
