"Room was clean
Room was very compact and the negative would be the fact there were no windows.
The bathroom although clean had glass doors as did the toilet."
"There was no cooked breakfast sadly, but there was a good range of items for the continental breakfast. I stayed in the extension and I felt the rooms need updating, they were clean but a little small. It is such a beautiful setting and I felt that area of the hotel needs more to make it more attractive.
I stayed on a very hot weekend but there is no AC and only a small fan. As a result the room was stiflingly hot! Future summers may also be hotter so unpleasant nights need to be better prepared...
"This is a beautiful, elegant, stylish Haven to stay at. The staff were absolutely polite and warm and kind. And the location was perfect and it was so nice that there was parking in the back of the end. I took advantage of the breakfast every morning, which was absolutely incredible. I would recommend this place."
"Did it's job- somewhere to sleep en route to devon, close to main road but rundown and shabby. Breakfast was reasonable. Did all appear clean though."

"Convenient for parking but general state of property was poor. In need of some updating. Carpets were grubby everywhere and our room was very hot though they did provide a fan. Unfortunately we were bitten by mosquitoes in the room.
The bar was only opened for limited hours. We did not eat in the restaurant though a fellow guest said to us his experience was not good. Poor quality food and bad service."
"The hotel was set in a beautiful part of the country, the receptionist was pleasant and informative. We had a lovely clean and nicely decorated room with good storage in keeping with the hotels age.
The bathroom was clean and effective with a walk in shower.
The room had good security on the door, a safe and fridge would make good additions.Parking

"The room 214 was beautiful but unfortunately next to the kitchen extractor vent which kept going all night very loud
The staff said it couldn’t be turned off
It would stop for 10 minutes then start off again It needs to be addressed
If not in that room it would all have been fine"
"Room was quirky, as was the Manor House. No tv in the bedroom, no shower, or tea/ coffee facilities. Very small double bed. We were told if we wanted a drink we could ask but it would be served downstairs. Reception was closed between 9pm-8am. Poor Choice of wine by the glass. First choice not available. Outside was definitely in need of investment and general taking care of. Grounds were overgrown and quite shabby. Outside the restaurant was under fig trees which was very overgrown. We...
