"The chap on reception was exceptional , So helpful.and accommodating, made our stay extra special"

"Lovely venue"

"Was a little apprehensive on the stay here after only paying £33 fit myself and grandson. I needn’t of been. Yes the place is dated but it was clean, no smells and the bed was comfortable, and there was extra pillows in the room. Tea, coffee facilities were good too. We didn’t go into the bar area. Will defo stay again. Only downside was the reception staff, not overly friendly however I did arrive just as she was eating food."

"Really old hotel lots of character starting to look very dated in rooms Really could do with a refit and some modernisation"

"Hotel was ok. Lost a star though as no tea or coffee and room was basic. Breakfast was served in the pub on site. Food was really good. Staff were courteous and polite."

"This was a cute pub with rooms to let above. Our room was on one of the top floors. It was quite tiny, but with a nice view out the tiny window and had all we needed. Staff were lovely and the bar was lovely too."

"The condition of the room was dreadful. Tatty, tired, worn, scruffy, grim - not somewhere you would want to spend time and definitely not priced to reflect this. We would have been disappointed had it been half the price. I will say that the cleaning staff did a good job as our room was clean at least and it must be difficult to make a room like this clean. However the duvet cover was torn, the carpet was worn, the paintwork chipped and flaking, bathroom very basic. The whole thing needs...

"Friendly and helpful staff."

"We have stayed here several times and each time it has been a little more run down. It meets basic needs. We are elderly a choose this hotel for the elevator. There are steps to enter the lobby, steps to get to the elevator and about a dozen more steps to get to the room. We declined having the room cleaned the first day but never saw housekeeping again during our 3 nights stay. The front door needs painting a cheap fix, the lobby entrance needs painting. in the bar the exterior wall needs...

"We stayed at The Royal Swan Ashley Manor. Wickham for one night, my birthday Halloween day. This hotel was excellent, very clean rooms with all that you needed. Twin room with buffet breakfast and pre ordered cooked English breakfast, all just great. Staff all very friendly and happy. Good sized parking bays for my large car. Walked 10 minutes to a local pub. great atmosphere on this special day. Would definitely stay again."

"Located in the historic centre of Chichester, the location is hard to beat. The staff were friendly and helpful. The check-in desk is in the pub, which has a limited evening menu, but there are plenty of eateries within short-walking distance. The rooms are quite large and charmingly named after past cathedral bishops. The pub can be noisy to the early hours as it also functions as a night club. If you're noise sensitive, another venue would be a better choice. If you're into clubbing, then it's...

"Booked a 3 night stay here.Great location, right opposite Osbourne House. Nice period property and room was spacious but tired in areas (shower had pieces of sealant hanging off and mould on the shower door). It would benefit from a good clean (eg dirty skirting boards, cobwebs, carpet stained). Hotel is situated on a main road so noisy even late at night with the windows open, although that didn't bother us. Had one evening meal here and one breakfast. Food was lovely although breakfast slow....
