"We only stayed one night as we were traveling through. It’s a beautiful historic home inside and out. The staff was very helpful. We didn’t go to breakfast as we stayed in and rested, but I’m sure it was good. Will stay again when we are in the area."
"We were fortunate to be upgraded to the deluxe "cabins" at the top of the property but were also very pleased with the rafting trip and staff at the center. The restaurant at the river was very good and a great convenience as we dined there all three nights of our stay. The prices there were very reasonable for dinner. The train trip offered at Bryson City was excellent and about a 20 minute drive to reach."
"Stayed in the bear suite, decorated nicely with the theme. Had breakfast items, drinks in frig, coffee, everything you need for quick breakfast and pastries that were very good. Bathroom items, they are very thoughtful on having the supplies you need. Overall a very comfortable place to stay and within walking distance to Main Street."
"No Wi-Fi, reached out to contact listed to contact if issues who gave us a different number but because wi-fi wasn’t working we didn’t get messages in time to reach out. It’s nice to get away to places and not have wifi when you don’t need it but we had some critical things we needed wifi to be available and property shows it was available, regardless we shouldn’t have to track down who is responsible for service when we used email given. The place was neatly presented but it was NOT clean. ...
"Property was clean, nicely decorated. Very peaceful, but still close to the main road. The listing showed a view of the river, but it was overgrown and couldn't really see the water from the porch. But it was a good place to stay and be within a short drive to lots of hiking, pretty drives, and restaurants. The Dragon Pit in Robbinsville had good food, and the Tattered Tartan Pub in Andrews was great food and atmosphere. The house is a tiny house, so only 2-3 adults, or 2 adults and 2 kids...
"The cabin was clean, well-equipped and homey. Though we did not use the fireplace of pit, a firewood bundle was provided. Read the instructions about navigation directions carefully and print them out. Google maps is useless in this location. It is on a dirt road, wirh which my Mini Cooper had no problem. Super comfortable, like staying at a friends' cabin for a week. Whatch out for poison ivy around the perimeter. Stairs are a bit uneven, so use caution. Could use a few handyman repairs (nail...
"This was our first experience with a rental property and it couldn’t have been better! They are so sweet and make sure you have everything you need in the stunning duplex! 10/10 would stay again"
"Property is in a very good location. I may have missed it on the listing but this property is one of three houses sharing the same driveway. When we arrived we found the tv was not working and a curtain rod was falling. When we reached out the number left at the property, we were told that property manager no longer worked for the property. The new property manager reached out the next day to let us know someone was supposed to let us know about those issues before the stay, we were not aware of...
