"The hotel was comfortable and clean, the parking was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful and chatty they went out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
The on-site restaurant was lovely, the food was excellent.

"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. "We had a lovely one night stay. The room was so cute and cosy “13” it was like stepping back in time but with modern amenities. The bed was super comfortable. I had a great nights sleep.
Dinner was lovely,as was the breakfast. Staff we friendly and very accommodating. Only downside was that it’s very dog friendly in all areas. Something we aren’t used to in Australia, where they are banned from most places unless they are service dogs. I highly rate the passion fruit cocktails."
