"Fantastic place to stay within walking distance to downtown Royal Oak. Lovely courteous staff with great advice for local spots to checkout! Nice outdoor gathering spaces and great music inside at the lounge. Pick your own vinyl albums to play at the upstairs bar as well at Vinyl Lounge as well."

"Not even first but a heads up: there is a security down deposit of min. Of $100. If can only be credit card (that you need in person) of the person whose name it is under. The first room smelt like mildew. The front desk was nice enough to give us another room (it’s not like it was full anyway). In the 2nd room, it smelt like mildew but manageable. No microwave or fridge, despite the first room having those two. The air conditioning, we could not change. The shower (when it turned on) was...

"Excellent stay"

"Room was very dirty with hair in the sink, bathroom floor, urine on toilet seat had not been cleaned, only given 2 towels for 3 of us, room smelled like feet, outside of hotel smelled like weed, only redeeming factor was that breakfast was decent but basic"

"The hotel is in a good location but the quality of the hotel is not goood. The hotel walls are paper thin between rooms. You can literally hear the room next to you snoring, talking and their tv. The outside noise is almost unbearable with trash trucks, sirens, and traffic throughout the night. This hotel and nearly all of the new construction (this is 1 year old) is built for money making and not the experience of the guests. It is like sleeping in a nicely decorated cardboard box that you...

"The property is clean, the staff is friendly, breakfast is good with lots of options. I felt safe as a female traveling alone."

We complained when we returned Saturday evening and were given towels by the front desk clerk (it was too late for maid service), but we were blamed for the problem. The clerk said we had clothes on the bed WHICH WE DID NOT, but they still didn't change towels. They said we didn't notify them that we wanted our room serviced by putting out a door tag requesting it. The only door tag for our room was one...

"nice room, enjoyed my stay"

"Breakfast was NOT included. The buffet was $15 and definatley not worth it. The lobby and eating area were extremely cold"

"Good Value and location,. Place clean."
