"The staff were wonderful! I am giving four stars because my room was a sauna, even on days I did not shower - just no air/moisture circulation at all. I opened a window while I was awake and in the room, but that only did so much. I booked this hotel because it was close to the train station, and I am very glad to have made that decision - not having to haul my bags up hill through Bath was great!"

"On arrival there was road works outside the hotel which we were unaware of. I had messaged to ask where to park but got no answer. The parking is payable across the road and behind some houses. The hotel building is very old and the bar area is quite nice. The two young lads on the bar were very nice and friendly. The room we had was in need of decoration and updating, not in good shape. We had drinking facilities provided but I’d advise take your own as the ones given were to certain tastes....

Arrived at 3pm as on booking form door lockked all in darkness no one around. 2. 5 pm a lady turned up unlocked and let us in and booked in and showed us to the room, told us breakfast times but no evening meals on monday or tuesday.
