"As a single female I felt very safe and welcome at this hotel. Perfect location for a music gig at the venue literally less than 5 minutes walk straight down the road. Both day and night receptionists Brogan and Andy were very friendly, efficient and provided great customer service. Day and night they both willingly opened the bar for me and others (the band!) Thank you to them both. Having a room change as maintenance required in my original room was a bonus as upgraded! Absolutely no...

"A bit of a hidden gem. I find it difficult to get a decent hotel in this area that serves decent food and is safe & secure. I would say that this one ticked all the boxes for me. Would happily stay again. "

"We found this hotel to be everything we needed for an overnight stay. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are well appointed. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant, and the breakfast was great. Would definitely consider staying again."

"We liked everything about our room and the hotel. Getting in was a bit difficult but once sorted - excellent. Very friendly and helpful and kind man who let us in and showed us to the room. My only quibble is with the shower: without doubt the most feeble shower facility ever! It took well over 5 minutes to get hot water: I never used the cold tap at all! "Was a great place for an overnight stay. My only potential issue was the 10pm cut-off for checking in. In theory I needed to get there nearer 11pm, but as it happenedon the day various health factors meant I was well inside 10pm."

"I arrived having pre-booked on Expedia to be told by the landlord that he does not accept booking any more on this app. The original price was quite reasonable at £50 however he said a room was available with ensuite at £75 which I paid as I had no other options. The room was clean but there was no shower gel or shampoo provided and at £75 I would have expected a breakfast. In fact though, they don't even provide a paid for breakfast which is surprising. "
