"Only negative thing I will add to this is what is the dial set to that sprays the purfume or odour for the cleaner set to? 11 out of ten I would think it is overwhelming the purfume smell in the hotel."
"Great hotel,
Driving and parking is a nightmare. Lot's of traffic, tiny roads (even for Europe as there is construction everywhere) and a police station right there. The curb in front of the hotel seems to be used as a taxi stand for the rail station (so don't plan on leaving your car at the front of the hotel while you check in and ask about parking). You have to park underground at the train station (which is just across the road) and is very expensive. Not a surprise for downtown...
"We were disappointed at check-in to learn our room was not in the historic hotel building, which is beautiful, but in a new annex building up the street (which is non-descript.)
Reception closes at 2pm, but check-in begins at 2pm. If you can't arrive at 1:55pm, you must follow the self-check-in instructions that are sent via email (in German.) "The staff, location, and amenities that we expected were all good. The food was just okay. Besides that, the quality of the room was very bad. Not enough hangers for two people on a four day work trip, no air conditioning, a fan to cool down that was incredibly noisy, and a shower where there was no proper place to hang the shower head. We had to keep the window open all night. The room rate we paid was not at all worth the quality of the room. I am sure the hotel raised their standard rates...
"Nice place, clean and comfortable. It ’s a bit far from anything but close to airport with shuttle service provided for a fee. Grocery store very close. Restaurant at hotel was a little expensive, we were here for 1 evening and exhausted so not sure if other restaurant options in area are available."
