"Great stay the hotel has an excellent atmosphere. Staff weee extremely helpful and always happy to assist where they could. Food in the restaurant at night was superb as was the full emglybreakfast. Rooms are small but functional but clean and all that you need. Bed was comfortable shower was great."
"Lovely older style pub hotel close to retaurants and bars. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Bathroom spotless and newly refurbished. Access to parking across the road was easy and perfectly acceptable."
"Staff were pleasant and helpful however nobody on reception when we checked out so unable to give feedback.
Room was very dated and bath was so grubby that we wouldn't use it, the bit where you would stand for a shower had ingrained dirt in the grooves. Bed linen was ripped so the duvet was showing through. The headboard was stained."
"Our first visit, had a nice stay would return. One thing I would say is maybe they need to change their sausage at breakfast wasn’t nice & extremely dry. Would recommend a stay here."
"Great hotel with facilities for either exercising and lots of enclosed land for dogs to run around . Rooms are large, spacious and very clean with ample storage and fridge. Also in very good/ new condition. It was also nice to see that they allocated a nice room that was pet friendly. The bar area which allows your dogs to eat with you is also very comfy and welcoming.Great service and hearty breakfast. Would definately stay again."
"Warmly welcomed, staff all professional, friendly helpful. The atmosphere is peaceful, location stunning, loads to see in the area and wonderful walks. The grounds were fantastic to walk our dog , safe and secure.. plenty of wildlife. Will be even better when the Hide has been renovated . Bed was very comfortable and room spotless, food was good and well presented and breakfast was included in our deal . A very enjoyable visit , will be back soon"
"City Studios is offering a place to stay with the convenience of self catering. The room was clean, the kitchen well equipped and I had plenty of space for my stuff.
The check in is different to what I was told. They do not use the app anymore, just head into reception. My door to the room was a challenge - it didn’t close easily. Maybe something to look at.
I didn’t like that I couldn’t watch normal live TV, but I enjoyed the Christmas movie channel. 😂
Overall a sufficient place for rest,...
