"The room needs a deep clean and remodel. They have a smell to them that cleaning can't remove. It was the least expensive option for our stay in the digby area, but I still think we over paid. Breakfast included choice of cereal, bagels, toast and yogurt, coffee and hot water for tea. Leaves something to be desired. We won't be back."
"Waterview property, from our 2nd floor patio #5 suite. Very spacious, some upgrades done . Clean large room, with nice bathroom area.
Comfortable king bed, antique furniture, which could use some tlc.
Bonnie was pleasant.
They had a common kitchen area for tea/coffee. No breakfast.
Suggestions:
The windows could use sheer curtains along with the existing blackout.
Would be helpful to have some coat hooks or cupboard in the hall."
"Pleasant place, however it’s quite isolated. Have to drive a fair distance to find restaurants. No restaurant on premises, but they do serve a nice breakfast.
Room was clean and comfortable. Overall, a pretty good stay."
"Kevin and Leslie were wonderful hosts who served us a delicious breakfast - a most welcome treat after the typical hotel fare. The house is a beautifully renovated period home with large spacious bedrooms and private bathrooms. We were impressed with the attention to detail and the cleanliness. Kevin loves Nova Scotia and gave us many great recommendations for things to do and restaurants to visit."
"The view was fantastic. Sitting on the porch looking right over the water was perfect. The interior is a little dated but had what we needed and we spent more time outside than in!"
