"Liked everything about the hotel. Keep on doing what you are doing. Only thing I would change is the menu was a little limited and if you didn’t much care for the food on the menu you are stuck.
Also the walls were a little thin so all sounds carried I could hear people talking in the room next to me. Beds were really comfortable ."
"The building itself is awesome—an older property with a lot of character, including a really cool dining room. It’s in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and we had no noise issues at all. The staff was also fantastic and genuinely couldn’t have been better.
The biggest surprise was breakfast. It was made to order and was a traditional English breakfast with tons of flavor. We found a lot of the food during our European trip fairly mild, so this really stood out. Honestly, it may have been the best...
"The bathroom was handicapped equipped and poorly designed. The water in the shower was not contained and thus, it covered the whole floor and took all night to dry. Not only did your feet get wet when you went to the toilet in the middle of the night it also was slipping hazard. The breakfast was not good. The hotel is conveniently located to Kassam Stadium, but not to the main areas of Oxford. There is a convenient bus stop, but busses take 18-30 minutes to go into Oxford."
"The hotel was nice, it’s conveniently located next to a huge Waitrose and leisure centre which is great. Unfortunately there was an issue with staff conduct, which I appreciate was addressed swiftly by management. Otherwise, it was a pleasant stay."
"Clean room, bathroom tired, I knew there would be music, but boy the whole room was shaking and vibrating till 1.30am, did it really need to be so loud, breakfast minimal but adequate for a start to the day"
"Okay, so it announces itself as a 'budget' hotel and so i should have been warned. On the plus side, the bed was fairly comfortable and it did have 'en-suite' facilities, TV and possibly had air-conditioning (couldn't get it to work). However, the room was extremely cramped - difficult for 2 to navigate past each other. There was 1 towel to share. There were 2 pillows to share. The toilet was separate, but the washbasin and shower were actually in the bedroom - not ideal! There were no tea or...
"Excellent location!! Went to Wembley stadium and took the train to Gerrards Cross after the game. 15 mins, then a short stroll. Loved the room, bed, facilities. Room well equipped, super comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked in circa 15mins. Will def stay there again! Ample secure parking."
"سيئة لا ابعد الحدود وغير صادقين في المواقف ، لايوجد مواقف سيارات كافيه وكانو يأجرونها على من خارج الفندق والنزلاء ليس لهم مواقف وهذا أغضبني جدا ، وغير لبقين في التعامل اسلوبهم سئ ، الفندق قديم جدا متهالك ، التدفئة غير جيده مفصولة كانت ،الفطور غير مناسب ، تقييم الفندق خادعني للأسف"
"Fantastic location with great staff
It’s a 400+ year old hotel and looks stunning, that age has it’s challenges and some internal corridors could use yet another upgrade
Good pub and restaurant on site
Would use again"
