"The property was amazing and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. From the complimentary breakfast to the beautiful pool, and reserved poolside chairs we loved it.
They informed us of some community amenities and held our bags until the check in. We were allowed to check in a bit early also.

The food is excellent and varied, with portions almost too big. All of the staff is helpful and friendly.
It's not Sandals so don't expect infinity pools, mini golf, open bars and a disco.
Expect green macaws and monkeys on your amble to the virtually empty beach. You'll see an old wooden hull from a long ago shipwreck and pelicans skimming the small waves.

"Excellent staff and the property is reminiscent of a resort more so than a hotel/stay. Access to beach is extremely easy, attached to the backside of the property, though the beachfront is not 'developed' or 'set up' so do not expect a resort-like sun-chair set up. Excellent location if you want to be away from the hustle bustle of puerto viejo, but still biking distance to get to all the shops and cafes. Fabiano at the front desk, and Rosita for breakfast service, were both absolute delights...
"In general the place is great, however, we rented the flat with two bedrooms and a kitchenette. However the kitchenette was in need of repairs and the dishes and utensils were dirty with dried out food and housekeeping was unreliable."
