"I was very pleased to find that my room (no.5) had recently been refurbished with new fixtures and fittings! The room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. A fridge was included, which was useful for storing breakfast items. Free parking outside on the street was ok in May, but I imagine it could be a problem in high season. Barmouth Train station is a 5 minute walk away with trains roughly every 2 hours north to Pwllheli and south to Machynlleth. The hotel owner has conveniently posted the timetable in the foyer."
