"we were happy with everything, cleanliness, AC etc, they're not massive rooms, but perfect for location and getting to places.. we parked in the car park, there was a bit of confusion with regards the parking, they (the hotel)validated our chip and it was more than if we'd stayed and payed normally, but we got it sorted by the guy in the parking, no discount, but all good.. and then we left the car overnight and the price and validation worked fine.. we'll be wiser next time.. not complaining, just mentioning it.."

"Our stay was just perfect in everyway there is a lovely homely feel at this hotel...very quirky and steeped in history The room was very clean, our amenities in our room was very good from the biscuits and tea bags etc to the soap on the sink and the shower stuff and moisturising lotion. The bed comfy and very big.. sheets etc were lovely and clean and laundered. All the staff very pleasant and polite and could not do enough for us during our stay.. we would definitely stay again"

"The staff here are amazing and more than make up for the basic amenities. As a wheelchair user, rooms are on the small side. On the negative side, because this is an economy hotel, you literally get all kinds staying (including an idiot who pulled a fire alarm at 3am and another who was smoking pot in their room), but the staff were quick to address issues. The hotel is in city centre, right in the tram line, with easy walking distance to the bus and train stations, Sheffield Hallam and The Moor shopping. Meadowhall and The University of Sheffield are just a few minutes away by tram."
