"Hotel is great. Close to Exhibition space by taxi (not buy foot) and airport. Hotel breakfast and dinner are more “eastern” as there is not enough eggs and there is no bacon at all. But there are American pancake!! Huge down for hotel is that they don’t clean the room everyday during your stay. They use “green agenda” as an excuse for not cleaning the rooms!! That is one very bad decision by the hotel management!"

"Quiet place but clean. Front desk was friendly. We had a car so we drove around for the most part, they had free on site parking outside and in the garage. I did see bus stops around the area when walking to the bakery. There is a bakery two minutes away from the hotel which had really nice baked goods. Grocery store near by if you want to buy snacks. "Property and rooms were older looking. The lounge was unstaffed and did not appear functional. Rooms were large. Breakfast looked good, with one guy making eggs but no one was there. "

"Very nice hotel, central to the Messe and Ruttenschied which in Essen is very important. It was clean, comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. Parking can be challenging in the area, but the hotel has its own parking as well. This is the first time I have stayed but will be looking to it as my first choice from now on as I need to visit the city."

"The entire property reeked of smoke. Even after leaving both windows wide open while I slept for 6 hours, I still woke up able to smell it. It was that bad. I checked out just 7 hours after I checked in. Was supposed to be a 3 day stay but wasn't going to put my health through that."
