"Just back from a three night stay in this lovely hotel. We chose Palm Court because of its location and its residents car park, this is a covered car park a just round the corner from the main entrance. Check in was quick and simple. Our room (No 31) was very nice, it was on the corner of the building with windows overlooking the front of the hotel and the multi story car park to the side. We had a very comfortable king size bed and the room was spotlessly clean. There was a hospitality tray...

"I’ve stayed in hotels all over the world without ever making comment but this time I will. It is quintessentially Yorkshire charming. The location is also great for walking into town. Parking is easy and the staff are so very helpful."

"What a great find, lovely friendly pub with rooms. Room was spotless as the whole premises. Couldn't fault the evening meal or the breakfast ( probably the best we have had for some time. We will definitely revisit."

"We thought from Expedia's website that we were getting self catering, with living room/kitchen as well as the bedroom and bathroom, but we got bedroom and bathroom only. Not the owner's fault, but Expedia. Accommodation was okay, but we have stayed in better for similar/lower price. General area was nice."
