"Have stayed at the hotel the last 4 years and have noticed a vast difference. Although room service is advertised, which you need to let reception know about beforehand, the housekeeper said that they would only supply what we needed eg. change towels, give sheets, tea, coffee , empty bins etc. The rooms are not cleaned daily as they used to or beds made up Also, me and my husband have always booked the Superior Double Room with 1 King size bed with seaview. "This was a decent hotel and lobby is lovely and modern but rooms are tired and a bit scruffy. not terrible but little things like odd broken tiles in the bathrooms and mould on the silicone. Reception staff adequate but not overly helpful. bar staff on the other hand were great and very accommodating. Great location for town and the Pier with lots of parking at the rear which is chargeable but not expensive. could be a great hotel with a bit of TLC and maybe some retraining for reception...
