"This hotel is on the seafront and in a great location for Eastbourne tennis and restaurants. The bedroom we stayed in was clean and bathroom was nice but it is very dated. There’s no fridge or a safe but there’s a kettle & tea/coffee. The breakfast was good but the staff looked rushed off their feet. The building is in need of complete refurbishment, inside and out. The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly, I will not be going there again as it is not up to standard. I hope it will be...

Limited amenities such as toiletries (toothpaste, bins) no telephone in the room, no fan as well but it’s ok for the price it’s offered. "We knowingly booked a small room. The room itself was clean and decent enough. It was an extremely hot day so could have done with A/C or at least a better fan than that provided. The bathroom was too tiny to be practical. There was no shelf in the tiny shower and there was not enough room to bend down and pick shower gel off the floor. Overall the price was very reasonable so we were not expecting the world. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable."
