"Clean basic accommodation attached to an interesting old inn. Modern bedroom resembling Premier Inn, good value for the price paid snd in an ideal location as we were passing through Basingstoke on the way to Southampton. Breakfast was not included but offered at a supplement. Variety offered on the menu looked good but we overslept in the comfortable beds and so had to run. "

Room was great - comfy bed and matching furniture. Large comfy tea seater and complimentary tea/coffee/bottled water. Bath was narrow meaning skin made contact with shower curtain. Reception and housekeeping staff were great. Downside - table in restaurant booked for 7, ordered at 7.10 - food to table just after 8pm. Not...
