"This is a classic Italian hotel. 24-hour front desk (that holds your room key), nice lobby, large well-appointed room with a really nice bathroom, great breakfast buffet on the top floor (with a rooftop terrace). Short walk to the central train station (and then a short train ride to the airport). Dozens of excellent Sardinian restaurants within a few blocks. A similar hotel would cost five times as much in NYC!"

"Hospitality was on point--receptionist helped us book our airport taxi, recommended some great eats. Location was sublime--15 mins walk to Poetto beach, 5 mins walk to a grocery store, lots of great restaurants and cafes nearby, plus near many bus stations as well. One criticism from me is the hotel creaks and have a lot of sounds, i.e neighbour flushing, clanking in vents/walls, etc. I am a heavy sleeper so no issue for me but may pose a problem to light sleepers. "Stayed for a night to catch an early flight. The front desk person was very nice and helpful, she even reserved the restaurant for us. The restaurant is located inside the hotel, so if you don’t want to deal with Cagliari traffic and poor parking, it’s a solution. Overall clean room, no view but we didn’t care. Would definitely go back. "

"Unfortunately we should've taken note of the poor reviews. A very disappointing experience. It seems the hotel is slowly improving its rooms but we unfortuately had a hill view room which was disgusting.It should not be given out to paying guests. Mouldy bathroom,loose wires from extractor fan,lingering smokers smell(smoke alarm covered by a shower cap!) and soiled sheets. We had booked for 5 nights but after arriving late and a very uncomfortable night fully clothed we checked out at first...
