"Checking in was a nightmare. The property sent messages in Norwegian, with no translation available. When I messaged asking for check in details in English, they just resent the information in Norwegian. The check-in code was located one layer down in a message I couldn’t understand. I basically had to just click a button and hope for the best. The check-in code should have been prominently displayed at the top of the message."

The room was very comfortable and tea/coffee was available in the lobby. The breakfast was excellent - one of the best on our trip across Norway. "For most this will be a non issue, but the TVs are quite old, and they have overhauled them with their own hotel interface, unfortunately for a tech head like me it made it harder to connect devices. They have Chromecast, but you'd better prey your device has it. The safe wouldnt work, and even the phone in the room (the style over substance red phone) would ring but when you picked up it wouldn't answer. The smart tech in the room seemed to have a life of its own, opening and shutting blinds...
