"Our stay was comfortable. Only two points I would make is that the rooms are quite warm in the summer as there is no air circulation and only one small window. "I thought it was a beautiful property. We found it to get a bit warm while sleeping though, not realizing that in Iceland, there doesn’t really seem to be AC so you need to open the window. Sounds silly but I wish we realized that in advance.
Bar was excellent as was the bartender. Get there before dinner for some happy hour!

"Great breakfast (it is worth paying the extra for it), rooms are clean, staff attentive and affordable for a family of six (two rooms). You can park on the street for free and if you need to get the Flybus, there are two stops a 5 minute walk from the hotel (its a shuttle bus that will take you to the main bus terminal, close to the domestic airport).
